Nestled in the Des Plaines River Valley, Cog Hill has been luring avid golfers since 1927. This privately-owned golf complex is located in a lovely rural setting less than 30 miles southwest of Chicago.The public is invited to play on one of four 18-hole regulation golf courses, including the world-famous Course #4, "DUBSDREAD."

The complex also includes a driving range/learning center, a golf shop, a restaurant and patio, along with a 280 seat banquet hall located within the historic clubhouse, perfect for weddings, business meetings, or other special events.

Cog Hill is the manifestation of the dream of Joe Jemsek and a testament to his vision.  Often referred to as the patriarch of Chicago golf, Joe Jemsek (1913-2002) was universally praised for raising the standard of public golf throughout the country.  This was due to his quest to bring private club conditions and amenities to the public player long before it was in vogue.  Joe proved that providing first rate golf and clubhouse service, food and beverage for the public golfer could be profitable and thereby led many investors into providing quality public golf.
