The "Ravines" is a sporty, championship course with tree lined-fairways, ravines, water, bunkers, and testing greens. In preparation for the 1997 U.S. Amateur three new holes, a par 3, par 4, and par 5 were constructed to create the present-day "U.S. Amateur" layout.
